Understanding that the company is co-responsible for its environment, in FemCAT we want to contribute to the labor insertion of people with disabilities, by making awareness raising actions based on concrete examples. More than people with disabilities, there are people with many different capacities, and these abilities or talents, must be able to express in full.
For two years we collected different examples of direct recruitment of people with disabilities, we organized sectoral dialogue tables in the framework of FemCAT and in July 2017 we organized the “Work integration of the diverse capacities” event, where workers and entrepreneurs shared their experiences, and where we shared FemCAT conclusions and action plan in this field, which we intend to extend to companies from all over Catalonia.
