On the occasion of the celebration of FemCAT’s tenth anniversary, the foundation organized, jointly with the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, an encounter in which three leading international experts in economics discussed issues of the current world economy.


7th edition (2013)

The seventh edition of the FemCAT Forum focused on the role of people as vectors for innovation. The German model of dual vocational training is based on transfer of knowledge to company employees from the inception of their relationship. In turn, it relies on knowledge creation by external institutions, which in addition to providing services also facilitate the incorporation of people already trained in the user companies. A good meshing between these two extremes could enhance the companies’ capacity for innovation, both individually and as a whole.


6th edition (2012)

What are the parameters of competitiveness that will help companies and territories to emerge from the crisis quickly? What are companies doing about it? Do Catalonia and Catalan companies stand up in a comparison with the best players on a global scale? These were the questions asked by the speakers of the 6th FemCAT Forum.
