Des de la seva creació, FemCAT organitza cada dos anys un viatge de benchmarking amb l’objectiu d’observar de primera mà algun aspecte en què un país visitat és referent mundial. A través de l’observació i de les converses, es poden extreure les lliçons més importants que es podrien reproduir un cop de tornada a Catalunya.

Estonia has a modern market economy and boasts one of the highest per capita incomes in central Europe and the Baltic States. It has strong electronics and telecommunications sectors, as well as strong trade links with its neighbouring countries.

The first FemCAT benchmarking trip was to explore excellence in the field of technology transfer and education in Finland. The consensus approach to long-term objectives for the country, and public-private partnerships in the implementation of actions to achieve them, formed the basis of the observations carried out on this trip.
